IT Portfolio & Project Manager (m/f/d)
Location: Berlin, Hybrid or Remote within Germany

To enable transparent, structured, and business‑oriented steering of IT initiatives across the SWISS KRONO Group, the role establishes and operates a group‑wide IT demand and portfolio management framework, supports top‑management decision‑making, and manages selected strategic IT projects. It combines IT governance, hands‑on project leadership, and stakeholder management and plays a key role in building a new, highly visible capability within the Group.

Your Tasks:
IT Demand & Portfolio Management
Define and continuously improve a group‑wide IT demand management process
Maintain a consolidated portfolio of IT projects and initiatives
Enable structured prioritisation in case of capacity, resource or budget conflicts
Prepare decision proposals for the IT Council
Project Monitoring & Governance
Monitor scope, timelines, budgets and risks across the IT portfolio
Review project status and financials, identify deviations and coordinate corrective actions
Define transparent reporting structures and KPIs
Project & Program Management
Manage selected large or critical IT projects or sub‑projects
Ensure consistent application of project management standards
Frameworks & Standards
Design and introduce group‑wide project management standards and templates
Establish a pragmatic hybrid approach combining classical and agile methods
Contribute to building a PMO‑like capability
Stakeholder Management
Work closely with Enterprise Architecture to ensure alignment
Structure and clarify business demands across the Group
Prepare clear, decision‑oriented reports and presentations for the IT Council
Your Profile:
Experience & Expertise
Solid experience in IT project, program and/or portfolio management
Proven background in portfolio processes, prioritisation and reporting
Familiarity with ITIL, COBIT and hybrid project approaches
Agile and scaling frameworks (e.g. SAFe) are an advantage
PMP / PRINCE2 certifications are a plus
Context & Industry
Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is beneficial
Focus on IT (not OT)
Skills & Personal Attributes
Strong analytical and communication skills for senior stakeholders
Structured, independent and reliable working style
Confident in ambiguous or politically sensitive environments
High ownership, pragmatism and drive
Languages
English mandatory; German is an advantage
