The role combines strategic portfolio construction, liquidity and cash-flow management, fund oversight, performance monitoring, client portfolio management, investor servicing and fundraising support for portfolios invested in direct unlisted infrastructure assets and infrastructure funds.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior investment professionals, asset management teams, institutional clients and third party business partners including banks, wealth managers and insurance companies, and external service providers, and will represent the firm professionally in investor, consultant and industry engagements across Europe.

Find below more information about the role and what expertise you ideally bring.

Responsibilities

  • Construct, monitor and optimize portfolios in line with investment strategy, client objectives, risk-return targets, diversification requirements, regulatory constraints and investment guidelines.
  • Oversee portfolio liquidity management, including cash-flow forecasting, capital calls, distributions, deployment planning, subscription and redemption management, and scenario analyses.
  • Lead portfolio reporting, performance attribution, exposure monitoring, controlling, valuation oversight and fund management activities with a high degree of analytical rigor and accountability.
  • Coordinate audits, governance processes, investment restrictions, operational controls and interactions with fund administrators, auditors, depositaries, legal advisers and other service providers.
  • Act as a trusted interface and client fund manager for institutional clients, consultants and internal stakeholders by preparing high-quality investor materials, due diligence responses, portfolio updates and management presentations.
  • Support fundraising and client development through investor meetings, webinars, conferences and selective travel across Europe, contributing to the continued growth of the infrastructure platform.

Experience

  • Several years of relevant experience in portfolio management, fund management, investment management, investment controlling or institutional client portfolio oversight within private markets; infrastructure experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of unlisted infrastructure investments, closed-end and semi-liquid fund structures, portfolio construction, liquidity management, performance measurement and institutional investor requirements.
  • Proven experience in portfolio reporting, performance analysis, valuation processes, controlling, investor communications, due diligence materials and fund governance processes.
