About The Role

As a Claims Analyst Graduate you’ll support the handling of Property and Engineering claims underwritten in the DACH market (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). You’ll learn to investigate claims proactively, ensure fair resolution and provide exceptional customer service in line with our Corporate Solutions Claims Commitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess insurance claims of varying complexity from initial notification to final settlement.
• Work alongside experienced professionals to manage external experts and control costs.
• Coordinate claims across our global network, building international experience.
• Share insights with underwriting, sales and risk engineering teams, developing business acumen.
• Analyze policy coverage, investigate facts, evaluate losses and create resolution plans.

About The Team

The DACH Property, Engineering and Construction claims team is based in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich and Zürich, comprising 10 claims professionals. The team handles losses across major lines of business with a commitment to exemplary claims service.

About You

We’re looking for an open‑minded, trustworthy team player who engages constructively in challenging conversations and is eager to learn and grow in the claims environment.

Requirements

• University degree (Bachelor, Master or PhD) with up to 3 years of professional experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication skills, confident working with clients, brokers and senior colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a positive attitude.
• Full proficiency in German and English.

Nice‑to‑have

• Previous internship or work experience in insurance or financial services.
• Basic understanding of coverage, investigation, loss evaluation and claim valuation.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
• Interest in underwriting and other insurance functions.
• High initiative, accountability and fast learning ability.
