Overview
In this role you help safeguard Swiss Re by overseeing detection content production and incident investigations. You will monitor real-time security events, coordinate responses, and mentor junior analysts within the Cyber Defence team. The position emphasizes improving incident response capabilities, threat awareness, and operational excellence. You will work in a hybrid setup, collaborating with cross-functional security and technology teams to reduce risk and strengthen resilience. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Security monitoring: oversee security operations, analyse alerts, and detect incidents in real time
- Incident response: investigate incidents, contain breaches, and implement remediation
- Operational excellence: maintain high operational standards across security processes
- Threat intelligence: stay updated on threats and trends in cybersecurity
- On-call duty: participate in on-call rotations for urgent matters outside regular hours
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Experience in cybersecurity as a Security Analyst or Incident Responder (SOC/CSIRT preferred)
- Knowledge of current threat landscape, offensive tooling, and MITRE ATT&CK techniques
- Experience in malware and exploit analysis or reverse engineering
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent English communication, both oral and written, and ability to present complex concepts
