For our client, a leading financial institution in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to support a strategic and regulatory-driven project in the area of Liquidity Risk Management.Senior IT Project Manager – Liquidity Risk / Treasury / Banking 100%Job description:Take full responsibility for the successful delivery of a complex IT project within Liquidity Risk Management, Treasury and BankingGather, analyse and document business and technical requirements in close collaboration with stakeholders from Risk, Treasury, Compliance, Finance and regional business unitsEnsure delivery in line with agreed scope, timeline, budget, quality standards and regulatory objectivesManage all project phases, including planning, reporting, budget tracking, financial controlling, resource planning, forecasting, risk management and issue managementPrepare and deliver high-quality presentations for steering committees, executive sponsors and operational project teamsEnsure compliance with internal project governance, stage-gate processes, milestone approvals, security standards and control requirementsCoordinate internal and external project stakeholders in a global, matrix-oriented environmentSupport the smooth transition and sustainable handover of delivered solutions to Operations, including documentation and change enablement activitiesApply agile project management principles and use tools such as Jira and Confluence for backlog management, task tracking and documentationAbout the customer:In this role, you will take full ownership of the end-to-end delivery of a complex IT project focused on enhancing internal liquidity controls, tools and processes in line with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders across IT, Risk, Treasury, Finance, Compliance and Operations and ensure structured, transparent and governance-compliant project execution.Start: Immediately or by arrangementDuration: 12 months with possibility of extensionWorkload: 100%Location: ZurichContract type: Payrolling through SwisslinxRequirements:Several years of experience as a Senior IT Project Manager within the financial services industry, ideally in private banking, investment banking or wealth managementProven experience managing large-scale IT projects with change-the-bank budgets above CHF 1 millionStrong understanding of regulatory-driven projects in a banking environmentExperience or strong exposure to Liquidity Risk Management, Treasury Operations, Regulatory Reporting or Risk ManagementStrong project governance skills, including budget tracking, financial controlling, resource planning, reporting and milestone forecastingExperience working in international, matrixed project environments involving Business, IT and vendor stakeholdersSolid knowledge of Jira and ConfluenceProject management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP or equivalent is an advantageExcellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skillsStructured, proactive and solution-oriented working style with a high level of ownershipFluent English skills are required;
