Employment: Full-time | Permanent or Interim
Start Date: ASAP / Immediate or short-notice availability strongly preferred
Function: Finance / Management
About the Role
Swisslinx is looking for an experienced Head of Finance to take overall responsibility for the Finance function in Zurich and play a key role in its strategic and operational development.
The Head of Finance will be responsible for the financial management and performance of the business, ensuring high-quality, transparent and reliable financial reporting while acting as a trusted sparring partner to the Managing Director and wider management team.
As Swisslinx is part of a Nasdaq-listed international group, the role combines responsibility for the Swiss finance function with group-level reporting, governance and audit requirements, including exposure to US GAAP.
This is a hands-on leadership position combining strategic financial oversight with operational execution and continuous improvement.
We are primarily looking to appoint this position on a permanent basis; however, we are also open to experienced interim finance professionals who would prefer to support the business on a contract basis.

Controlling, Planning & Reporting
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting and medium-term financial planning processes.
- Prepare and continuously improve management and financial reporting.
- Analyse revenue, costs, margins, profitability and cash flow, providing clear insights and recommendations to management.
- Develop and monitor relevant financial and operational KPIs and business performance indicators.
- Conduct scenario modelling, business cases and profitability analyses.
- Ensure robust liquidity and cash-flow planning.
- Support group reporting requirements and ensure timely and accurate financial information is provided to relevant stakeholders.
Accounting, Audit & Compliance
- Oversee the Finance team's day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate and timely financial records.
- Take responsibility for monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with Swiss statutory accounting, tax and regulatory requirements, as well as relevant internal group policies and controls.
- Support financial reporting and audit requirements arising from Swisslinx being part of a Nasdaq-listed group, including US GAAP reporting and audit requirements.
- Coordinate and manage annual audits under both applicable Swiss local requirements and group/US GAAP standards.
- Work closely with external auditors, fiduciaries, tax advisors and other financial service providers.
- Further develop the internal control environment, financial governance and risk-management framework.
Leadership & Organisation
- Lead, manage and develop the Finance team, with both functional and people-management responsibility.

Your Profile as a Leader
You combine strategic thinking and strong financial expertise with a genuinely hands-on approach. You are comfortable moving between high-level discussions with senior management and the operational details required to ensure that Finance runs effectively.
As a trusted and credible leader, you communicate clearly, make well-informed decisions and are able to translate complex financial information into practical insights for different stakeholders.
You thrive in a dynamic and international environment, take ownership and see Finance not simply as a control function, but as a strategic business partner that actively contributes to the development and performance of the organisation.
What We Offer

- Significant scope to shape and further develop the Finance function.
- Close collaboration with the Managing Director, management team and international group stakeholders.
