Job description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support Global Regulatory Affairs (GRA) financial operations, ensuring accurate planning, reporting, and compliance in a GMP-regulated environment. About the customer: The client is a leader in the Pharmaceutical industry, recognized for its cutting-edge therapies and dedication to improving the lives of patients worldwide. Requirements: Financial Planning & Reporting: Prepare and oversee GRA expense and headcount demand planning and forecasting. Track expenditures, manage registration fee invoicing, and coordinate cross-charging processes. Perform budget planning, forecasting, and consolidation using systems like BPC/Clarity. Create financial status updates and perform variance analyses for GRA Leadership Teams and stakeholders. Operational Support: Ensure accurate preparation of accruals for annual close and monthly reporting. Support vendor resourcing activities, including contract management and expense tracking. Oversee service purchases, prepare purchase orders in ARIBA, and monitor invoice tracking. Maintain labor tracking and reporting for GRA projects in Clarity/Smartcore. Compliance & Process Improvement: Ensure financial controls comply with company standards and local requirements. Streamline processes and support GRA with technical issues in SAP/Serrala and related systems. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong working relationships with internal and external collaborators across global regions. Act as the liaison to global/local finance departments, addressing accounting and operational queries. Competences: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. Proficiency in SAP; familiarity with Serrala, Ariba, and Clarity/Smartcore is a plus. Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analytics tools. Strong organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure. Effective communication skills, both written and oral, with a proactive and service-oriented mindset. Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
