Responsibilities

Make an impact

• Further development of existing, plant-specific software systems in warehouse management
• Contact for customers in the event of complex software incidents or for advice on software enhancements
• Implementation of change requests with a focus on Java EE / Jakarta EE
• Ensuring the availability and performance of the systems
• In coordination with the team, participation in a rotating on-call model
• Developing concepts for software deployment while maintaining system availability
• Carrying out software tests and commissioning at the customer’s site
• Analysing past malfunctions and deriving measures in the team to increase customer satisfaction

Application Requirements

What you need to succeed

• Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science / information processing or comparable training

• Programming experience in object-oriented languages, ideally in Java

• Experience in the use of relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server)

• Flexibility for assignments outside normal working hours and willingness to travel

• Experience in dealing with on-call activities (separate remuneration, rotating in a team) and intralogistics systems is an advantage

• Fluent German and good written and spoken English skills

• You have a customer-oriented and analytical way of working and are enthusiastic about finding solutions to incidents and thus contributing to high customer satisfaction

• A quick grasp of things rounds off your profile
