Technical Lead Vision Systems (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
Make an impact. As Technical Lead Vision Systems (m/f/d), you’ll have global responsibility for both customer projects and continuous development of our Vision Systems. For the start, your focus will be our Guardian. Guardian is a Vision System in the RowPaQ cell to check the quality of the products when they come off the palletizing robot. This ensures they are in the right position and not damaged.
You’ll have the technical coordination of the Vision Systems team. Step into the role and cultivate a culture of innovation through task planning and prioritization, while ensuring effective training and knowledge transfer. Engage in active contributions to development and implementation projects, overseeing schedules and budgets. With your expertise, proactively identify and communicate gaps, ensuring the success of our technical initiatives and satisfying stakeholder needs.
You will provide input to the employee appraisals and performance management meetings, ensuring that you and your team have a clear view of the next steps and long-term milestones. You’ll report and work in close collaboration with our Head of Software LBM & Vision Systems to coordinate all team activities.
Application Requirements
What you need to succeed:
- Your background is rounded off by at least 5 years of technical experience in vision systems with respect to camera systems and related software developments.
- Ideally, you have worked on vision-based robot control, image segmentation, and object detection.
- You communicate openly, effectively, and consistently with all stakeholders. You have a proven technical background in Software and Vision in the Automation environment, and you will enhance this with communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- The ability to work independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment is a matter of course for you.
- Experience in implementing new concepts and supporting them is needed.
- Fluency in German and English.
