Responsibilities
Make an impact
- You will support in the operational procurement process. This includes the operational procurement of direct and indirect materials, obtaining and comparing offers, maintaining contact with suppliers, monitoring order confirmations and deliveries.
- You will assist with contract and price negotiations: You will be creating negotiation documents, and maintaining framework agreements.
- You will also actively work closely with the regional (project) procurement managers and category managers.
- Another task for you is to examine procurement metrics: identifying potential savings, analyzing efficiency and sustainability.
- One of your tasks also includes supporting strategic procurement projects, such as the implementation of new procurement systems, sustainability initiatives, or cost reduction measures for strategic product categories.
- Supporting in conducting market research is also part of your tasks.
- Last but not least, you’ll also help with optimizing internal processes.
Application Requirements
What you need to succeed
- You are an enrolled student (m/f/d) in the field of business administration or comparable and bring 15-20 hours per week with you.
- You enjoy administrative tasks with great emphasis on accuracy, detail and quality.
- Commercial training or initial experience desirable but not an exclusion criteria.
- You have a structured and independent way of working.
- You bring analytical, logical skills and creativity to the team when it comes to problem solving.
- You have a confident, friendly demeanor and a strong service orientation.
- You have very good knowledge of MS Office products (primarily Excel, PowerBI, Visual Basic desirable).
- Ideally, you also have knowledge of ERP system SAP R/3, module MM Materials Management (or comparable).
- You are fluent in German and have a good command of English.
