Data Architect (m / f / d)

Job Responsibilities

• Drive the organization’s global data strategy, aligning it with business goals and fostering innovation
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and design scalable data architecture
• Assess and evaluate data solutions for performance, cost, and security while exploring alternatives
• Establish data governance policies and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
• Facilitate smooth data migration by developing strategies and mapping processes in collaboration with business units
• Create a comprehensive data strategy that defines data management, retention, and classification
• Take ownership of the data infrastructure, ensuring its maintenance, optimization, and security
• Support business units by providing guidance on data access, querying, and analysis
• Serve as the primary contact for data-related inquiries and facilitate efficient data utilization

Application Requirements

What you need to succeed

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in setting a data strategy from the ground level and productizing or monetizing data-driven applications or components
• Strong expertise in data modeling, ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes, and data warehousing
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), MS Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
