Head Trader e FX Spot – Associate-Director As an Associate-Director in the FX
DA Trading department, you will be in charge of the e FX Spot team.
Key Responsibilities Team Management Lead and support the e FX Spot team; foster a positive work atmosphere where employees feel motivated, valued, and connected to the team and the organization.
Promote collaboration, trust, and cohesion among team members.
Address any potential conflicts among team members to senior management and/or HR Partner.
Support employee growth through training, mentorship, coaching, and advancement opportunities.
Hiring Lead the recruitment process in partnership with Talent Acquisition.
Ensure new hires are properly introduced to the team, the organization, its culture, policies, and their specific roles.
Performance Management Set performance expectations, provide feedback, conduct performance reviews, and address performance issues.
Conduct under‑performance process with help of Senior Management and HR Partner.
Operational Duties Own realized risk and Pn L.
Ensure successful and compliant operations; monitor orders, trades, overall market conditions, news flow, real‑time risk and Pn L.
Fine‑tune price construction, execution and risk management production systems.
Monitor team capacity allocation.
Maintain a network of hedging counterparties and market venues.
Analyze results, identify and drive improvements.
Data Analysis Use internal analytical tools and quantitative skills to derive data‑driven conclusions, suggest actions and deliver reporting.
Documentation Maintain up‑to‑date operational procedures and ensure compliance.
Collaboration Serve as reference point for Sales, Software Engineers, IT colleagues and other internal teams.
Project Management Contribute to product development and infrastructure improvements.
Qualifications Minimum 8 years’ experience in sell‑side electronic FX trading.
Previous experience in a leadership role is a strong advantage.
Deep understanding of market (micro)structure.
Deep understanding of client needs (both retail and institutional segments) and the competitive landscape.
Proficient in transforming large data sets into actionable insights.
Ability to prioritize and deliver multiple tasks in a deadline‑driven environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills, results‑oriented, team player.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
