Job Description
Team Mission and Stakeholders
Are you passionate about automating build pipelines and improving developer experience?
Join our platform team, Software Delivery Lifecycle, and help us supercharge the build and delivery of our cloud-based and bare-metal apps!
We’re looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer with solid development skills to provide essential toolings to developers to ensure our applications are qualitative and secure.
Your main responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and Application Resilience teams to enable Value stream teams in their CI/CD journey and adoption of our private cloud pipeline.
- Work with Software Engineers to improve their developer experience by shortening infrastructure set-up time and increasing deployment frequency.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI pipelines to automate the deployment of cloud-based apps, contribute to CD pipeline evolutions according to our quality and security hardening needs.
- Participate in the migration of classic infrastructure to the cloud.
- Administrate dev organization and generic rules and processes on our GitHub instance, as well as Nexus.
- Administrate and evolve GitHub actions workflows for value stream teams.
- Provide Level-3 support to value stream teams.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in Ops, DevOps, SRE, Software Engineering, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitHub Actions) and experience in automating deployments.
- Hands-on experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid skills in Bash or other shell scripting languages.
- Hands-on working experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, Python.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with Nexus administration.
- Experience with SonarQube administration.
- Experience with Argo CD, Rollout, Workflows.
- Experience with Service Mesh (Istio, Linkerd).
- Experience with Java (particularly using Maven plugins for build automation and Spring Boot ).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience working in cloud-native environments.
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD ) or equivalent experience with Kubernetes clusters.
- Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Elastic Stack.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Networking fundamentals understanding (DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing) in a cloud context.

- Fluent in English (French is a plus).
