The kind of place where the atmosphere takes care of itself. /p pAs an equal opportunity employer, we welcome candidates from all backgrounds, experiences and perspectives to join our team and contribute to our shared success. /p pWe are looking for an Android Developer to join our Banking Services team to contribute to the development and evolution of modern Android applications related to Payments, Cards or Cryptocurrencies, among others. /p pIn this role, you will build clean, scalable, and maintainable mobile solutions using Kotlin, Coroutines, Flows, and Jetpack Compose, following Clean Architecture principles and industry best practices. /p pBeyond strong development skills, we are looking for someone who takes ownership of features end-to-end, understands the product and technical context, enjoys solving problems, and collaborates effectively with the team to continuously improve both development processes and the product itself.br/The role requires a strong engineering mindset, with particular attention to code quality, maintainability, architectural consistency, and production readiness. /p h3Key Responsibilities : /h3 ul liDesign, develop, test, and maintain Android applications following Clean Architecture and modern development practices. /li liTake end-to-end ownership of technical topics, from requirements clarification and solution design to implementation and production follow-up. /li liContribute to the architecture and evolution of existing mobile systems, identifying opportunities to improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability. /li liBuild and maintain UI components using Jetpack Compose, ensuring a consistent, performant, and accessible user experience. /li liImplement asynchronous logic and reactive data flows using Kotlin Coroutines and Flows. /li liProduce clean, well-tested code following established engineering best practices and the team's architectural guidelines. /li liReview code and technical solutions proposed by other engineers and provide constructive feedback. /li liCollaborate closely with engineers, product stakeholders and designers. /li liSupport production releases and contribute to maintaining a high level of app stability and user experience quality. /li liContribute to improving engineering practices, automated testing coverage, and technical documentation within the team. /li liMentor less experienced engineers and contribute to raising the overall technical level of the team. /li /ul h3Technical Skills Experience Required : /h3 ul liStrong professional experience in Android application development, ideally in Kotlin-based environments. /li liStrong proficiency in Kotlin, including Coroutines and Flows for asynchronous and reactive programming. /li liStrong proficiency in Jetpack Compose and the modern Android UI toolkit. /li liSolid understanding of Clean Architecture, separation of concerns, and common design patterns in Android. /li liExperience with Dependency Injection frameworks (e.g., Koin) and modular project structure. /li liStrong experience with Gradle. /li liStrong experience with automated testing, including unit tests and e2e testing. /li liAbility to understand and safely modify existing complex or legacy Android codebases. /li liStrong focus on code quality, maintainability, and long-term evolvability of the codebase. /li liEnthusiasm for AI adoption in the development workflow. /li liFluent in English, both written and spoken /li /ul h3Nice to Have : /h3 ul liPrevious experience building applications for consumer-facing, high-traffic, or business-critical mobile products. /li liExperience with MVVM / MVI architectures and unidirectional data flow. /li liExperience with Room, Retrofit, and other Jetpack libraries for data persistence and networking. /li liExperience with Firebase ecosystem or similar. /li liKnowledge of app analytics, crash reporting, and production diagnostics tools (e.g., Crashlytics). /li liExperience working in cross-functional, agile teams and collaborate with product stakeholders and designers. /li liHands-on experience with agentic models or AI-assisted development tools. /li /ul p"Please note that Swissquote never requests sensitive personal information or payment of any kind during the recruitment process.
