Overview
As Endpoint Engineer you will manage and secure corporate endpoints across macOS, iOS/iPadOS and Android, with a focus on Intune and Defender for Endpoint. You’ll align endpoint practices with security and business needs, continually seek automation and improvements, and partner with security and IT to sustain a robust endpoint posture. The role sits within a growing Endpoint Administration & Protection team, shaping enterprise-wide device management. You’ll work across platforms to deliver a reliable, secure user experience and drive modernization efforts.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Act as the primary technical specialist for macOS, iOS, iPadOS and Android endpoint management
- Design, implement and maintain device management using Microsoft Intune
- Manage Apple Business Manager integration, ADE and device lifecycle processes
- Manage Android Enterprise enrollment models and operational administration
- Ensure devices are enrolled, compliant, configured and supported
- Troubleshoot complex device management issues across platforms
- Provide guidance and documentation for endpoint admins and stakeholders
- Design and maintain Intune configuration profiles and compliance policies
- Support integration between compliance policies and Conditional Access
- Monitor platform health, drift and policy effectiveness
- Evaluate new Intune capabilities and drive adoption where value exists
- Own Defender for Endpoint deployment, policy, reporting and health across platforms
- Implement and maintain endpoint security controls
- Collaborate with Security Ops for investigations
- Package, test, deploy and maintain applications via Intune for Windows/macOS
- Develop deployment strategies minimizing user disruption
- Maintain deployment standards and documentation
- Monitor service health and drive automation and service improvement
- Stay current with Microsoft roadmap and modern management practices
- Take ownership of problems from identification to remediation
- Participate in incident resolution and change processes
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and procedures
- Stay aware of endpoint trends and security requirements
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 4+ years in endpoint engineering or modern workplace roles
- Hands-on Microsoft Intune administration
- Experience managing macOS in enterprise environments
- Experience managing iOS/iPadOS/Android via enterprise MDM
- Strong knowledge of device compliance, configuration profiles and enrollment methods
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
- Experience with Windows/macOS app packaging and deployment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Conditional Access
