Enrichment and Marketing Specialist

Dassel Cokato Community Services is looking for an Enrichment and Marketing Specialist . This person is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of community education programs and community service marketing efforts.

Duties

1. Develop, plan, promote, coordinate, and evaluate a variety of community education programs related to youth and adult enrichment, health and safety programs, and special events.
2. Oversee enrollment and registration for youth and adult enrichment, health and safety programs, and special events.
3. Create, design, and develop marketing materials for community service programs through various mediums, including print, digital, photo, video, and others as applicable.
4. Ensure consistent marketing of community service programs through online advertising, flyers, bulletin boards, email, displays, and other opportunities.
5. Assist with maintaining social media accounts for both Dassel-Cokato Schools and Community Education/Early Childhood.
6. Collaborate with team members to identify target audiences and trends using Community Education data.
7. Attend meetings, workshops, conferences, and training sessions related to the position\’s responsibilities.
8. Follow appropriate program budgets and process instructor stipends. Analyze data from revenue/expenditure reports and make suggestions as needed.
9. Assist with customer service questions and answer community education phone lines as needed.
10. Handle a variety of assignments or problems independently; have flexibility to work independently; work through frequent interruptions; meet project deadlines.
11. Assist in the collaborative development of planning and implementing special events.

8. Excellent verbal and written communication for engaging families, staff, and community.
9. Dedication to being a good community partner and providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

1. Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
2. 1. Bachelor\’s Degree in position area or similar related field.
   2. 2 years of experience in Marketing or Graphic Design is strongly desired.
   3. 2 years of experience using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite is strongly desired.
   4. Experience with Community Education Programming is strongly desired.

Schedule

1. 12 month Position (260 days).
2. Monday – Friday.
3. 7:30am – 4:00pm.
