As our Customers Service / Inside Sales Specialist, you will play a crucial role in generating revenue and maintaining strong customer relationships within the industry. You will be responsible for selling logistics services, managing customer inquiries, and coordinating shipments to ensure timely and efficient delivery. Furthermore, you will provide the customer rates and prices for their business, acting as the daily partner and face to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Target potential customers, develop and maintain a customer database, and deliver compelling sales pitches to prospective customers.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for existing clients, address customer inquiries promptly, and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Collaborate with the operations team to plan and coordinate shipments, ensure accurate and timely delivery, monitor shipment progress, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and revenue.
- Generate regular sales reports and forecasts.
- Stay updated on industry trends & competitors and identify opportunities for improvement and expansion.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operations as a foundation for customer service and pricing tasks.
- Proven experience in sales in the logistics industry.
- Proficiency in using CRM and TMS software and other relevant tools.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of freight forwarding operations and supply chain management.
