Technology Integration Expert (m/f/d)

The role of a technology integration expert is to design and implement interfaces to and from internal systems and to and from external partners and to optimise existing interfaces. Provide 1st and 2nd level support to EDI and API incidents for all interfaces of more than 300 external business partners and over 60 internal software systems in the European region.

How you will contribute:

• Design and configure workflow-based interfaces including mapping of standard formats like EDIFACT, IDOC, JSON, X.12, XML and others and specific formats either into our internal format and vice versa or directly into destination format.
• Knowledge of communication protocols like AS2, OFTP, SFTP and API.
• Project management, functional and integration testing and detailed implementation and change documentation.
• Perform patching, maintenance and configuration changes of our middleware software.
• Perform analysis of incidents and provide corrective actions.
• Proactively watch alert notifications both directly from the middleware as well as from the service desk and resolve or escalate these as required.
• Completed professional training or Bachelor’s degree in computer science/computer engineering or provable equivalent experience.
• Experience and knowledge in EDI message types and protocols used for electronic data interchange and/or experience and knowledge in API-based communication.
• Experience and knowledge in EDI middleware, especially Lobster data and/or Boomi.
• Knowledge in network technology and network security.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Strong time management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in following change management and change control processes.
• Experienced in working both as part of a team and independently.
