The Senior KAM / Player Coach will oversee the sales strategy and execution for the cardiometabolic franchise, supporting and developing a team of Key Account Managers across key European markets for a lead molecule in the cardiometabolism space. This includes FCS as the initial target ultra orphan indication, with SHTG in development. The role involves developing a high-performing team, managing your territory, overseeing regional account activity, and communicating key insights and opportunities. You will provide inspiring support and clear direction to drive team performance.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Coach team members to reach their highest potential, fostering engagement and motivation.
  2. Contribute to account prioritisation and targeting strategies with clear performance metrics and oversight.
  3. Achieve sales and activity targets in line with company expectations and brand strategies.
  4. Implement and adjust business plans to meet performance targets.
  5. Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, supporting new initiatives.
  6. Build relationships with key external stakeholders.
  7. Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and legal standards.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Marketing, Access, Compliance, and Finance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Experience in the Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry, especially managed care and national accounts at a European level.
  • Success in leading sales teams, developing markets, launching products, and driving revenue growth.
  • Product launch experience in cardiometabolic and/or rare disease markets.
  • Strategic thinking, professional feedback integration, task prioritisation, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a start-up environment and assume roles beyond traditional responsibilities.
