Job Description
As the Global Product Manager for Rice Crop Protection, you will play a crucial role in maximizing the value of new and existing Active Ingredients through Product/Portfolio Life Cycle Management. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of rice crop protection globally.

Accountabilities

• Lead global Active Ingredient Management teams to set direction, improve the portfolio, and solve complex challenges.
• Implement Rice R&D strategy to fill pipeline gaps globally.
• Evaluate the Rice pipeline and support licensing strategies with global and regional teams.
• Drive license-in opportunity evaluations with R&D Technology acquisition teams.
• Develop business cases for portfolio investments and obtain approval.
• Prepare 5-year plans with regional alignment, including risks and opportunities.
• Develop branding and plans for strategic products, updating as needed.
• Prepare global product launch kits and support launches in key markets.
• Share best practices across regions.

Qualifications

• Agronomy degree and Master\’s in Marketing.
• Knowledge of pesticides, crops, growers, and competitors.
• Expertise in agronomy and herbicides, especially rice weed control.
• Marketing skills in branding, pricing, positioning, and market research.
• Strong strategic, analytical, and scenario modeling skills.
• Understanding of finance principles like P&L, NPV, and investments.
• Basic knowledge of R&D stage gate processes.
• Experience in customer-facing roles at country/regional levels.
• Proven in managing complex projects and driving change.
• Leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Customer focus, multicultural experience, and conflict resolution skills.
