We don’t just offer jobs - we offer the opportunity to grow, make a difference, and be part of a team that’s redefining the future of financial services. /p pWe are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Zurich as a maternity cover for an initial period of 9 months, starting on 1 November 2026. /p pIn this role, you will take ownership of the accounting and financial management of our Swiss entities while working closely with local management, our international Finance organization, and our Shared Service Centers. /p pThe position reports to the Head of Finance DACH. /p pThere may be an option to extend the assignment depending on future business needs; however, an extension cannot be guaranteed. /p h3Job Requirements /h3 ul liDegree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. /li li5-7 years of relevant experience in an accounting, finance or controlling function in Switzerland. /li liStrong knowledge of Swiss accounting and tax processes. /li liSolid experience in accounting, corporate finance, auditing and financial analysis. /li liComfortable communicating with stakeholders at all levels, from accounting specialists to C-level executives. /li liHands‑on personality with strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail. /li liAble to communicate in a concise, accurate, and fact‑based manner and provide well‑founded recommendations. /li liStrong commercial and business acumen with the confidence to challenge the status quo. /li liExperience in managing and standardising finance processes. /li liExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. /li liExcellent written and spoken German and English. /li liAbility to read and communicate in French is an advantage but not a must. /li liExperience with NetSuite is a plus. /li liComfortable working in a vibrant and fast‑paced consulting environment. /li /ul h3Job Responsibilities /h3 ul liTake full responsibility for the accounts of five Swiss and one French legal entity, with approximately 160 employees in total. /li liOwn and ensure accurate project accounting across the Swiss entities. /li liManage the month‑end closing process, including analytical reviews and the preparation, presentation and explanation of management accounts. /li liUnderstand, review and explain payroll journals, while payroll processing itself is outsourced. /li liReview and optimise existing processes in close collaboration with our Shared Service Centers. /li liPrepare tax declarations and coordinate relevant tax‑related activities. /li liSupport the local budgeting and year‑end closing processes. /li liEnsure monthly time entries and invoicing are completed accurately and on time. /li liSupport local project managers in preparing customer invoices and managing projects in the ERP. /li liLiaise with external auditors and tax consultants. /li liContinuously improve and standardise finance processes to ensure efficient and reliable financial operations. /li /ul h3Job Benefits /h3 ul liTake ownership of a broad and senior finance role with significant responsibility for our Swiss business. /li liWork closely with local senior management and an international Finance organization. /li liGain exposure across accounting, controlling, project finance, tax, budgeting and management reporting. /li liCompetitive salary and attractive benefits aligned with the market. /li liBright, modern office spaces in central locations with excellent public transport access. /li liA hands‑on mentality and a strong team spirit. /li liFun events, learning opportunities, and initiatives shaped by our people. /li liModern working environment and flexible working models. /li /ul pFor more information, please visit us at /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
