Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.
- Experience in consulting or advisory roles related to data governance.
- Proven track record of successfully leading data governance projects.
- Experience with data governance tools and technologies (e.g., Ab Initio, Collibra, Informatica, Alation).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or similar qualifications.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data issues and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience managing projects and hands-on implementation of Cloud/Data Engineering projects.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Fluency in German and English (spoken and written).
- Proven ability to identify opportunities and risks within projects and create new roles within existing projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead data governance projects from initial planning and initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes (including P&L).
- Establish offerings aligned with current market trends and lead sales pitches as a subject matter expert.
- Identify opportunities and risks in projects and successfully create new roles within existing projects.
- Design and implement comprehensive data governance frameworks tailored to client needs.
- Provide expert advice on best practices around data governance and data management.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to enable clients on data governance principles.
- Strengthen the data governance team with strong technical and organizational expertise.
- Represent the company in external networks and build market reputation.
