Lead Internal Auditor - Banking

pOur financial client is seeking a Senior / Lead Auditor to join their Basel based team in a permanent role. /ph3Your Responsibilities: /h3ulliAssume the role of a Lead Auditor, including goal- and deadline-oriented planning, independent execution and timely communication of audit results /liliOwn the full audit lifecycle, from risk-based engagement planning and execution to reporting, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards /liliDraft clear and impactful audit reports /liliAct as a sparring partner for management /liliMonitor the effective implementation of measures /liliPrepare statements for the Head of Group Internal Audit, the Board of Directors, or other decision-makers /liliParticipate in special investigations and projects /liliServe as a Subject Matter Expert /li /ulh3Your Profile: /h3ulliCertified banking professional, or higher business education (university or university of applied sciences), CIA, CFA, or equivalent. /liliA certified public accountant qualification is advantageous /liliAt least 5 years of experience as a Lead Auditor in banking audit (internal or external audit) /liliProfound experience in at least 2 of the following areas is a must: Operations, Risk, Portfolio Management, Credit, Payments, Products, Treasury or Trading /liliSolid knowledge of Swiss regulatory requirements /liliExcellent Microsoft Office skills; experience with Avaloq is an advantage /liliAbility to weigh problems, set priorities and strong analytical skills /liliAbility to collaborate and challenge stakeholders at all levels /liliHands-on mentality, strong work ethic, integrity and a high level of accountability /liliExcellent communication and presentation skills as well as ability to work independently /liliWillingness to travel abroad (approx. 30 days per year) /liliFluency in English with the ability to write clear, impactful texts in English; knowledge of German, French, or Spanish is an advantage /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
