We're looking for innovative, passionate, and talented people like you to join our team. /ppWe’re searching for a bSenior Data Engineer (1 Year Contract) /b to be part of our bIT Cybersecurity /b, bIT Applications EASEDA /b Department diverse team of talent. /ph3What you will be working on /h3ul liDesign, develop, and maintain data tracks and reusable data products on the SSMC Data Platform using MinIO, StarRocks, and other modern data technologies. /li liDevelop and optimize end-to-end data ingestion, integration, replication, and analytics pipelines. /li liSupport and enhance data platform services, including storage, data access, metadata, and data lifecycle management. /li liWork with business stakeholders to understand requirements, define data models, and establish data governance standards. /li liDrive data discovery, source-to-target mapping, and data onboarding activities for project implementation. /li liEnsure data quality, lineage, security, and compliance across the data lifecycle. /li liTroubleshoot and resolve complex data, platform, and integration issues through root-cause analysis and continuous improvement. /li liEvaluate and adopt emerging technologies and best practices to strengthen the organization's data platform capabilities. /li liCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and business-driven data solutions. /li liImplement service requests, enhancements, and operational support for enterprise data platforms and internal applications. /li liProvide technical support to internal IT teams and business users. /li /ulh3What We're Looking For /h3ul liBachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Engineering or a related discipline. /li liRelevant certification in databases, data engineering, cloud or data platform technologies will be an advantage. /li liAt least 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering, data management, database solutions or enterprise application delivery; manufacturing experience is preferred. /li liStrong hands-on capability in data discovery, data modelling, SQL, ETL/ELT, data integration, database views and source-to-target mapping. /li liPractical experience with data replication, validation, troubleshooting and production data flows across different systems. /li liGood understanding of manufacturing data and operational systems such as MES, SPC, equipment, quality, process or reporting domains. /li liExperience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL or equivalent technologies. /li liExperience in MinIO or other object storage, lakehouse or data warehouse platforms, Spark, Airflow, Kafka, Trino or equivalent technologies /li liExposure to BI and reporting platforms such as Tableau, Power BI or equivalent is advantageous. /li liProven ability to work with business users, project teams, vendors and internal IT stakeholders to deliver production-ready solutions. /li liForward-looking and curious: You enjoy anticipating future data needs and turning promising technologies into practical value. /li liProactive and accountable: You can work independently with limited supervision and take ownership of your deliverables. /li liAnalytical problem-solver: You approach complex issues with structured root-cause analysis and evidence-based decisions. /li liPassionate about trusted data: You value data quality, governance, security, lineage and long-term maintainability. /li liClear communicator: You can explain complex data concepts confidently to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. /li liCollaborative team player: You influence positive outcomes, share knowledge and guide less-experienced engineers. /li liCalm under pressure: You can balance multiple priorities and respond effectively to critical data or production issues. /li /ulpSSMC is firmly committed to upholding equal employment opportunities for all individuals.
