Our client, a fast-growing international business, is looking for a Head of Accounting & Tax to lead and develop its finance function.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of accounting, tax and group consolidation while strengthening financial processes and supporting the company's continued international growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting, tax and annual financial statements under HGB and IFRS.
- Manage group accounting, consolidation and international tax compliance.
- Improve financial processes, internal controls and reporting.
- Lead and develop the Accounting & Tax team.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external tax advisors and auditors.
Your Profile
- Strong technical accounting background, ideally combining experience in a leading audit firm with exposure to a fast-growing business.
- Solid knowledge of HGB and IFRS.
- Experience in corporate tax, VAT and cross-border tax matters.
- Understanding of group accounting, consolidation and financial controls.
- Experience in team leadership and international environments.
- Fluent in German and English.
- ERP experience, ideally with NetSuite
