IFRS Accounting Specialist

An established company is seeking an experienced IFRS Accounting Specialist to join their team. This role is pivotal in ensuring IFRS-compliant accounting, preparing consolidated financial statements, and serving as an internal consultant for IFRS-related matters, including M&A, equity transactions, and leasing. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing in-house IFRS guidelines, performing quality checks on financial reporting, and designing an internal control system for financial reporting. Your Responsibilities

1. Ensure IFRS-compliant accounting across the organization
2. Prepare consolidated financial statements
3. Act as an internal consultant for IFRS-related topics, including M&A, equity transactions, and leasing
4. Develop and implement in-house IFRS accounting guidelines
5. Conduct quality checks for financial reporting packages
6. Design and implement an internal control system for financial reporting
7. Deliver IFRS training sessions across the organization

Desired Qualifications

1. University degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
2. Extensive knowledge and experience with IFRS regulations and standards
3. Proven experience in a group accounting department or auditing firm
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Excellent communication and presentation abilities
6. Fluent in English, both written and spoken
7. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
