Overview
In this role you will deliver German GAAP and IFRS accounting for entities in Germany, while working within Netsuite and integrated financial systems. You will support month-end and year-end closings, audits, and liaise with German tax advisors. You’ll contribute to process analysis and improvement projects, including automation, to scale finance operations. The opportunity sits in NRW with home-office flexibility and involves cross-functional collaboration to strengthen financial reporting and controls.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Finance accounting under HGB/IFRS as applicable
- Accountant work in Netsuite and integrated systems
- Month-end and year-end closing activities
- Audit preparation and coordination with tax advisors
- Reconciliation of Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations and Accounts Payable
- Record transactions, post journals and reconcile accounts
- Prepare financial statements and management reports
- Finance process analysis and improvement initiatives
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Senior Accountant with at least 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of German GAAP HGB and/or IFRS
- Fluent German and good English
- Experience using Oracle Netsuite or similar ERP/financial systems
