Senior Accountant – International SaaS Company
An international SaaS company is seeking a Senior Accountant to help scale and optimize its finance operations across different entities.
This is a pivotal role for someone looking to contribute to a fast‑scaling finance function. You’ll have the chance to take ownership of key accounting processes and play a central role in shaping how finance operates across multiple international entities. The position offers exposure to complex technical accounting topics, cross‑border operations, and collaboration with FP&A, systems and audit teams, all with a strong focus on compliance, reporting and systems under HGB, IFRS and US GAAP.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead efforts to improve financial close timelines and reporting accuracy
- Own key accounting tasks including reconciliations, journal entries and audit preparation
- Establish and refine accounting frameworks that scale with the business
- Work closely with internal teams to troubleshoot process inefficiencies
- Provide insights into financial performance through variance analysis
- Support external audits and regulatory reporting requirements
- Contribute to finance transformation initiatives and special projects
What You’ll Bring
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Hands‑on experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system
- Familiarity with multi‑entity accounting, inter‑company transactions and foreign currency
- Strong understanding of IFRS and/or US GAAP
- Fluency in both German and English
