Consultant (m/w/d) Machine Learning Engineering

About The Role

As a Consultant Machine Learning Engineering (m/f/d) , you will guide enterprise clients through their AI journey. Your primary focus lies in bridging business goals with machine learning capabilities. You\’ll act as a strategic consultant and project lead, ensuring value-oriented and coordinated delivery across stakeholders and teams.

Your Responsibilities

• Assess client readiness for machine learning and identify relevant business opportunities
• Develop comprehensive and tailored project plans for machine learning solution rollouts
• Collaborate with clients to define clear KPIs and success criteria
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams, including data science, IT, and various business units
• Monitor project milestones, ensuring deliveries remain aligned with business objectives
• Document project learnings and best practices to facilitate reuse and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Data Science, or related fields
• 3+ years of experience in project management, technology consulting, or a similar client-facing role
• Solid understanding of machine learning principles and applications in business contexts
• Strong communication skills and experience in managing stakeholder relationships
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or classic models)
• Analytical mindset with structured problem-solving skills
• Strong communication in English and German, both written and spoken (C1)

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience implementing ML solutions in enterprise environments
• Sector expertise in industries like healthcare, public sector, or manufacturing
• Technical background in data science or AI (understanding of model pipelines, MLOps, etc.)
• Certifications in project management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe)
