Job Overview

As a New Business Sales Manager (m/w/d) in Financial Services & Insurance, you will be responsible for acquiring new clients within a designated customer base with complex product and communication requirements. Your main tasks include:

  • Identifying market growth potentials and developing data-driven recommendations based on market trends and customer needs, especially in ICT, Digital Solutions, AI, and Cloud solutions.
  • Building and developing long-term, trustful customer relationships across various management levels.
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of comprehensive customer business plans focused on new business and value creation.
  • Preparing offers and negotiating contracts through to closing.
  • Monitoring and analyzing the sales funnel and maintaining CRM data.
  • Managing and coordinating complex deal and proposal processes, including leading sales projects throughout the sales cycle with internal and external partners.
  • Planning and developing strategies to acquire new customers and logos.
  • Participating in industry events.
  • Creating reports, presentations, and decision templates in German and English.

Candidate Profile

You bring extensive sales experience and a deep understanding of digital technologies and the financial industry. You enjoy working in teams and managing relationships, with a passion for building strategic customer connections. Your profile includes:

  • At least 5 years of experience as an Account Manager or Key Account Manager, with proven success in customer care and development, preferably in finance and insurance sectors.
  • Strategic skills in developing new and existing customer segments and implementing targeted sales strategies.
  • Strong communication skills in German and English, with a professional demeanor in internal and external discussions.
  • Proficiency in sales management tools, metrics, and a structured, results-oriented work approach.
  • Flexibility and team spirit, with willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
