We are looking for an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join a major data centre project in Munich on an initial 12-month freelance contract.
This is a senior-level opportunity for an electrical engineering professional who has a proven track record of leading and managing complex electrical projects in Germany and is comfortable taking ownership of delivery from design through to commissioning.
The client is looking to move quickly and would ideally like someone who can start as soon as possible. However, they are prepared to wait for the right candidate through a notice period where the experience and background are a strong match.
Contract: 12-month freelance contract
Start: ASAP – flexible for the right candidate
Key Requirements
- Proven experience leading electrical projects in Germany
- Strong background in data centres, critical infrastructure, industrial or similar projects
- Experience managing contractors, consultants and project teams
- Strong knowledge of LV/MV systems, power distribution and critical electrical infrastructure
- Experience across design, installation, testing and commissioning
- Strong understanding of German electrical standards and regulations
- German-speaking is a major advantage
