The Opportunity
T5 Recruitment is working with a leading company in the data centre sector that is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a major project in Frankfurt, Germany.
This is an excellent opportunity for a freelance engineer with a strong electrical background and previous experience working within data centres or other mission-critical environments.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting electrical engineering activities throughout the project, ensuring systems are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support electrical engineering activities across a major data centre project.
- Review electrical designs, drawings and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors and other engineering disciplines.
- Monitor electrical installation works to ensure compliance with project specifications and relevant standards.
- Identify and resolve technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support testing, commissioning and handover activities where required.
- Ensure health, safety and quality requirements are maintained throughout the project.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Electrical Engineer on data centre or mission-critical projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems within complex engineering environments.
- Ability to review electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
- Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams and subcontractors.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to start at short notice.
- Freelance contract for an initial 12 months.
- Start ASAP.
