Tacit AI keeps industrial risk strategies current. Customers send their specs, drawings, BOMs and existing FMEAs. We generate DFMEAs and PFMEAs with every row traced to its source, then keep them current as 8Ds, complaints and test results come in. We work with global manufacturers in automotive, pharma and chemicals.
The role
- You make deployments work. Half FMEA engineer, half AI engineer, in front of the customer.
What you'll do
- Take a customer from raw data to an accepted FMEA: scope it with their quality lead, load their data, run it through the platform, review the output with their engineers, get sign-off.
- Fix what breaks on the way: messy exports, odd templates, missing structure. You write the Python to clean it and tune the prompts and rules until the output is right.
- Measure quality the way the customer does: compare the system against their own engineers and close the gap.
- Turn every correction into something the platform reuses on the next customer. Tell engineering what to build next.
- Join sales calls when the questions get technical, and show a quality team their own part, live.
Who you are
- 3+ years hands-on with FMEAs (DFMEA, PFMEA or FMECA). Automotive preferred, other regulated industries welcome. You know AIAG-VDA and what a customer needs to see before they sign off.
- You code. Python for data work is a must. You use LLMs and AI coding tools every day.
- You have built something with AI on real engineering data, at work or on your own.
- Comfortable in a room with engineers who know the part better than you do.
- Fluent English. German, Italian or French a plus.
