Overview
As Global Procurement Manager, you shape the category strategy and global supplier portfolio to secure continuity, mitigate price rises, and optimize total cost of ownership. You lead cross-functional collaboration with Product Management and SCM, manage contracts and negotiations, and embed ESG criteria into sourcing. This role combines strategic planning, supplier development, and risk management to support TAKKT’s mission to build sustainable, global workplaces. You will drive impact across global categories and partner with diverse teams to enable resilient, efficient procurement.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Develop and implement category strategies across global/local sourcing
- Own cost, risk and innovation management within the category
- Build and continuously develop a global, competitive supplier base
- Provide functional leadership to the Category Buyer
- Prepare and lead complex contract and price negotiations
- Leverage material indexes and supplier performance data in negotiations
- Conduct fact-based supplier performance management via scorecards/KPIs
- Set up RFQs, tenders and award processes
- Analyze sourcing markets, trends, technologies and geopolitical risks
- Incorporate ESG/sustainability into sourcing criteria
- Collaborate with Product Management and SCM as a business partner
Zentrale Anforderungen
- University degree in business administration or industrial engineering
- Minimum 5 years in international buying/procurement
- Proven global procurement and sourcing strategy experience
- Fluent in spend and price data; understands finance terms (P&L, ROI)
- Experience in matrix, collaborative environments
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Should-cost & TCO modelling, supplier evaluation and risk management
- Solid project management background
- Business fluent English; additional languages are a plus
- Confident user of ERP systems and eSourcing tools
- SRM tool knowledge an advantage
