Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer – €85,000 – Cologne Area This is a senior hybrid infrastructure role for someone who already operates confidently across Azure and classic on-prem environments.
You will act as the technical backbone of IT operations, ensuring seamless integration between cloud and on-prem systems — and stepping in for the Head of Operations when required.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Owning and developing a modern Azure-based hybrid infrastructure
- Ensuring seamless connectivity between Azure and on-prem networks
- Managing Windows Server, Active Directory and VMware environments
- Supporting Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) at enterprise level
- Acting as senior escalation point (2nd / 3rd level support)
- Providing structured guidance to colleagues and deputising IT leadership when required
What You Bring
- 4+ years professional IT infrastructure experience
- Strong Azure production experience
- Deep understanding of Windows Server and Active Directory
- Solid VMware knowledge
- Confidence explaining technical solutions to stakeholders
- Fluent German (C1+)
