Synpulse8 is the software engineering arm of the Synpulse Group, a consulting company focused on the financial services industry.
For our office in Ulm, we are currently looking for a motivated and structured Software Engineer & Site Lead (m/f/d) to join us at the earliest possible date. In the mid-term, this role is intended to develop into a position as Chief Technical Officer of Synpulse8 Deutschland GmbH.

Your profile
Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification gained through practical experienceAt least 10 years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture, for example as a software architect or technical lead in software developmentStrong technical understanding of complex IT systems and the design of interfaces between systemsSolid experience with modern technology stacks such as event-driven systems, microservices, APIs, and DevSecOpsIndustry experience in financial services, ideally with banks and insurance companiesExperience working in agile environments and a strong understanding of how to deliver software projects successfullyStrong analytical and structuring skills, combined with an independent, reliable, and goal-oriented way of workingPragmatic, hands-on, and execution-focused mindset in technical project environmentsConfident communication skills in English (minimum B2); German is a plusTeam-oriented personality with strong leadership capabilities

Support the technical leadership of software projects from initial concept through implementation and into ongoing operationsMake sound architectural decisions, evaluate technologies, and respond quickly to technical or organizational challengesReview code quality, software design, and security aspects, while guiding technical project leadsOversee deliverables, coordinate tasks, and drive solutions for issues that arise during project executionTake responsibility, together with the Group CTO, for the further development and maintenance of our software stack "Pulse8"Act as a trusted and communicative partner for clients on technical topics, fostering professional exchange and building credibility through a confident presence
