The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to configure, maintain and support enterprise network infrastructure across campus, data centre and branch environments in Vienna, Austria. Relocation to Austria (Vienna) is mandatory. Key responsibilities: Configure and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across campus, data centre, and branch environments Manage and support Cisco Wireless LAN environments, including Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs), access points, RF optimization, wireless security, and troubleshooting Provide technical expertise in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), 802.1X authentication, Network Access Control (NAC), and identity-based network security solutions Manage and maintain Cisco DNA Center for network automation, assurance, policy-based provisioning, inventory management, and operational analytics Support Cisco routing and switching environments (Catalyst, Nexus); configure, troubleshoot and optimize Cisco IOS and NX-OS devices Design, deploy, and support Cisco SD-WAN solutions Perform advanced troubleshooting of routing, switching, wireless, authentication, security, and connectivity issues Monitor network health, availability, utilization and capacity; implement network security best practices and participate in upgrades, migrations and lifecycle management Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field Minimum of 8 years hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering, operations and support Strong technical expertise with Cisco IOS and NX-OS, Catalyst and Nexus platforms, Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco Wireless (WLC, APs), Cisco ISE, Cisco DNA Center, 802.1X/NAC, SolarWinds, IPSEC VPNs, Azure cloud architecture and ServiceNow Experience with enterprise network monitoring, automation, performance analysis and troubleshooting tools Strong understanding of network security principles and authentication technologies Preferred certifications: CCNP Enterprise Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Wireless ITIL Foundation Certification
