Senior Web Analyst (m/f/d) / Frankfurt, Germany / Hybrid
We're partnering with a leading international agency as they continue to strengthen their digital analytics capabilities in Europe. This is an opportunity for an experienced Web Analyst to go beyond reporting — identifying patterns, diagnosing tracking issues, improving data collection, and turning complex digital data into actionable marketing insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse behavioural and conversion patterns within GA4, identifying anomalies, tracking gaps, and unexpected fluctuations.
- Diagnose discrepancies across GA4, Adobe Analytics, attribution models, and reporting outputs.
- Evaluate and improve event schemas, parameters, tracking structures, and data collection strategies.
- Conduct funnel, cohort, user journey, and attribution analysis to identify opportunities to improve marketing performance.
- Design and evaluate A/B tests, applying statistical validation to distinguish genuine behavioural impact from tracking issues.
- Partner with marketing, data, and technical teams to translate complex analytics into clear recommendations.
What You'll Bring
- Extensive' experience within digital marketing or web analytics.
- Deep hands-on GA4 expertise, including analysis, troubleshooting, event-based data models, and attribution.
- Advanced SQL skills, ideally including BigQuery, with working knowledge of GTM.
- Experience with Adobe Analytics and Tableau or Looker Studio would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical and statistical skills with the ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent English; German language skills would be beneficial.
Please note - this role is to be based in Frankfurt with 3 days in the office per week although Berlin & Dusseldorf are also to be considered with weekly travel to Frankfurt.
Also to note - Initial 12 month contract to then go permanent post review.
