Our client, a SaaS start-up is seeking a VP of Product. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and scaling products within the 1-100 stage, with a strong emphasis on product innovation and leveraging AI technologies.
This role requires a dynamic leader capable of building and mentoring high-performance product and engineering teams to deliver awesome customer experiences and meaningful innovation with speed, quality and efficiency.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Define and drive the product and technology strategy aligned with the company’s long-term goals.
- Establish clear vision and roadmaps for product development and technological advancements, ensuring they align with market demands and innovation trends.
- Build, mentor, and manage high-performing product and engineering teams. Cultivate a culture that encourages speed, innovation, growth and excellence.
- Deeply understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions.
- Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring our products deliver exceptional value and experiences.
- Implement best practices and processes for product management, software development and project management.
- Ensure high-quality, timely, and cost-effective delivery of products and features.
- Collaborate with GTM teams to align on GTM strategy and cohesive execution
- Ensure optimal use of resources to maximize ROI and support company objectives.
What We’ll Expect From You:
- 12+ years of experience building new products and leading multiple product teams.
- Strong experience with SaaS and working with SMBs.
- Excellent communication, leadership and collaboration skills
- Proven experience in building, mentoring, and leading high-performing teams. Must foster an environment that encourages innovation, speed, growth, and operational excellence.
- Implement and uphold best practices in product management, software development, and project management to ensure efficient and effective operations
- A strong focus on understanding and anticipating customer needs and translating these into product features. Must prioritize delivering exceptional value and experiences to customers
- Encourage a culture of innovation that not only follows but sets market trends, ensuring that we remain a leader in the industry
- Experience in managing engineering teams would be highly desirable.
