Support Engineer (Remote)

We are currently looking for an IT Support Engineer (1st Line Support Engineer) to join our customer team. As an IT Support Engineer at BENOCS, you will provide 1st line support, from error analysis to qualification and initial solution.

Responsibilities:

1. You will be the first point of contact for customer support, analyzing errors, finding solutions, and providing initial resolutions.
2. If you come across any problems that cannot be solved, you will escalate them to the appropriate specialist departments.
3. Using our support ticket tracking tool, you will monitor and respond to customer inquiries through GitLab Service Desk.
4. You will conduct technical training courses and webinars, ensuring customers are familiar with new features and updates.
5. Creating and maintaining help documents, such as FAQs, checklists, and technical documents, to assist customers in utilizing our products across various applications.

Salary range: €45,000 – €55,000 per year

Your TECH STACK includes:

1. Languages: Bash, SQL
2. Tools & Frameworks: ClickHouse (SQL-based DBMS), GitLab CI/CD, GitLab Service Desk

Qualifications:

1. You have experience with GitLab Service Desk.
2. You possess the ability to analyze issues and determine their root cause.
3. You exhibit a customer-first mentality.
4. You can provide patient and empathetic support to non-technical users during troubleshooting.
5. You are eager to learn about Internet Traffic.

It’s a plus if you have:

1. The ability to read and understand scripts.
2. Knowledge of internet topology and mechanisms behind internet transport.
