We are hiring a passionate, energetic, and entrepreneurial Counter Manager for a brand‑new counter at Ludwig Beck, Munich. You will lead a team of Retail Makeup Artists, deliver outstanding customer experiences, drive sales, and become the brand’s ambassador within the store. Your Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed retail sales targets
  • Analyze business results and identify opportunities to grow the counter
  • Deliver exceptional product knowledge and translate it into strong customer engagement
  • Proactively approach, stop, and engage customers
  • Drive cross‑selling to increase basket size and items per transaction
  • Monitor competitors and share insights to improve performance
  • Plan and execute counter events and activations
  • Ensure flawless execution of the brand’s service standards

Team Management

  • Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of Retail Artists
  • Create monthly schedules and manage day‑to‑day staffing
  • Coach the team in makeup artistry, sales techniques, and customer experience
  • Act as first contact for HR‑related matters within the counter team

Product & Artistry

  • Demonstrate top‑tier makeup artistry aligned with the brand’s “second‑skin glow” style
  • Maintain excellent product knowledge
  • Attend trainings and complete online education modules
  • Implement and follow all brand education initiatives

Grooming & Operational Excellence

  • Maintain impeccable personal grooming in line with brand guidelines
  • Uphold strong timekeeping, organization, and procedures
  • Ensure perfect VM standards and maintain a clean, well‑stocked counter
  • Build strong relationships with store teams and management
  • Share insights, trends, and relevant business updates
  • Oversee stock levels and ensure bestsellers are always replenished
  • Deliver weekly and monthly sales reports and event feedback

Your Profile

  • 3+ years leadership experience in beauty retail (luxury or prestige preferred)
  • Excellent people leadership and communication skills
  • Strong sales mindset and strategic thinking
  • Passionate about clean beauty and premium customer experience
  • Skilled makeup artist with the ability to combine artistry + education + sales
  • Highly organized with strong time management
  • Confident working independently and taking ownership
  • Proficient in MS Office; Google Drive a plus
