Job Description: IT Security Architect
Requirements:
- Independence & Solution Orientation: Ability to work independently, be solution-oriented, and sustain discussions about security minimum requirements with colleagues.
- Methodology: Proficiency in applying the Onion++ methodology.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Security, Telecoms, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of demonstrable expertise as an IT security architect, preferably with exposure to the financial services industry or a similar environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Azure Cloud, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and AWS.
- Familiarity with security best practices (especially NIST) and relevant Swiss security requirements.
- Certifications: Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CeH, or equivalent are a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent ability to provide rapid and concise summaries of complex scenarios, communicate security risks in business terms, and interact effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work under the coordination of the local CISO and in close contact with the project manager, application owner, IT architect, and other subject matter experts. Interaction with external counterparties like IT service/tool providers may also be required.
Language Requirements:
- Fluent English is mandatory.
- German and other languages are advantageous.
Contract Specifications:
- Location: On-site (Adliswil – 3 days per week in the office) or remote (with occasional on-site presence up to 2 days per month).
- Flexibility: Open to considering resources based in near-shore locations/countries.
- Start Date: ASAP.
- End Date: To be agreed with the business, potentially a 3-month contract duration. Potentially internalization after the 3 months.
