Background :
Our client’s Pharma Global Technical Operations (PT) manufactures life-saving medicines across 11 locations, supported by partners globally. IT and OT teams play a vital role in producing and delivering these medicines. As the organization undergoes a digital transformation, they are advancing key elements to meet future needs, including leveraging new technologies.
As a Quality System Engineer , you will oversee Windows upgrade, migration, and rollout projects in the laboratory and manufacturing areas. We are seeking 2 contractors for this role.
The ideal candidate will have a completed apprenticeship in IT and experience with IT Service Management (ITSM). We are also looking for someone with proven expertise in managing system rollouts and migrations for both clients and servers.
General Information :
- Start Date : ASAP (1-2 months notice is okay)
- Latest Start Date : 01.04.2025
- Duration : 12 months (with extension possibilities)
- Location : Basel and Kaiseraugst (hybrid but mostly onsite)
- Workload : 100%
- Working Hours : Standard
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan and execute migrations and rollouts of Windows clients and servers in laboratory and manufacturing environments.
- Collaborate with IT teams to minimize disruptions to business operations.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) departments.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during and after migration processes.
- Document migration procedures and train end-users or IT teams.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulations.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements, including GMP, GDP, and other relevant standards.
- Manage End User groups and escalations as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of hardware, software, and services.
Required Qualifications :
- Completed apprenticeship in IT or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.
- In-depth understanding of laboratory and manufacturing business processes.
- Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) and proficiency in support tools for request/change management.
- Strong background in systems administration and support for laboratory and manufacturing systems.
- Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, client operating systems, and databases.
- Proven experience in managing client and server system rollouts and migrations.
- Basic knowledge of Computerized System Validation (CSV).
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals.
- Fluency in both German and English (spoken and written).
