Engagement type: Contract
Start: ASAP or within two weeks
Initial duration: Through December 31, 2026
Future opportunity: Possible extensions and/or conversion
Location: 100% Remote within the United States
Job Description:
- We are seeking a senior, hands-on CJA Product Modernization Consultant or Engineer to deliver a defined workstream within an enterprise Adobe Analytics-to-Customer Journey Analytics transformation.
- Working with a Level 1 architect, this person converts modernization strategy into schemas, datasets, identity configurations, CJA connections, data views, metrics, reports, integrations, validation processes, and implementation deliverables.
- Direct, hands-on CJA implementation experience is required. Adobe Analytics experience without CJA delivery experience is not sufficient.
- The initial engagement runs through the end of 2026. Strong performance may lead to extensions, conversion opportunities, and substantial follow-on work as the Adobe partnership expands.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of digital analytics, analytics implementation, data engineering, Adobe consulting, MarTech, or related experience.
- Direct, hands-on CJA implementation experience plus strong Adobe Analytics and Adobe Experience Platform experience.
- Experience supporting or delivering an Adobe Analytics-to-CJA migration.
- At least one official Adobe certification is required; the exact certification name must appear on the resume.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead detailed analytics requirements and process-discovery sessions.
- Assess Adobe Analytics report suites, data collection, variables, classifications, segments, metrics, dashboards, integrations, and governance.
- Translate measurement requirements into detailed CJA and AEP designs.
- Design or build XDM schemas and Experience Platform datasets; configure or support ingestion, identity, CJA connections, and data views.
- Build dimensions, metrics, filters, calculated metrics, attribution settings, sessionization rules, and Analysis Workspace projects.
- Execute reconciliation and validation across Adobe Analytics, AEP, source systems, and CJA.
- Support parallel reporting, testing, defect resolution, cutover, documentation, and production readiness.
- Identify and elevate data-quality, identity, integration, performance, privacy, and governance concerns.
- Independently own assigned deliverables while collaborating with architects, engineers, analysts, and client teams.
- Hands-on or architectural knowledge of XDM schemas, datasets, ingestion, identity, CJA connections, data views, metrics, calculated metrics, attribution, sessionization, Analysis Workspace, and validation.
- Experience translating business measurement requirements into functional and technical solutions.
- Enterprise client-facing experience and the ability to independently lead a defined workstream.
- Clear written and verbal English communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Adobe certification specifically related to CJA, Adobe Analytics, or Adobe Experience Platform; multiple certifications are strongly preferred.
- Experience with Adobe Web SDK, Experience Platform Data Collection, tags, APIs, or Edge Network.
- Experience with Real-Time CDP, Journey Optimizer, Target, or other Experience Cloud integrations.
- Consulting, systems integration, or digital agency experience.
What Success Looks Like
- Assigned schemas, datasets, connections, data views, reports, and validation deliverables are correct and production-ready.
- Legacy analytics is rationalized and improved rather than recreated without purpose.
- Data is reconciled and trusted across Adobe Analytics, AEP, source systems, and CJA.
- The work is ready for cutover and adopted by business users.
