Engineering Manager - Infra & Data

ABOUT THE ROLE:

You will take an active part in growing our infrastructure teams and team members by guiding development, supporting progression, and setting up processes to ensure and validate the team’s productivity, retention, and happiness.

You will be working closely with Tech Leads and other Engineering Managers to help build, lead, inspire and expand our cross-functional teams while ensuring smooth delivery and continuous improvement.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support, invest in, and develop talented and motivated developers with clear expectations, pulse checks, goals, and constant feedback collection and discussion
• Oversee the development efforts of multiple teams covering the infrastructure, platforming, and data domains
• Hire and retain the best developers for your team to ensure the best team composition
• Build a healthy environment of trust and communication with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

• You are an experienced DevOps engineer who is passionate about technology and delivering robust software infrastructure solutions
• You have strong experience in leading, developing, and mentoring engineers in an agile environment
• You can openly discuss and weigh trade-offs in collaboration with other technical leaders
• You are proactive, organized and goal-oriented
• You have strong people management skills and experience in sourcing, hiring, onboarding, and retaining engineering talent
• You have the ability to communicate clearly, listen and show empathy
