Embedded Software and Hardware Developer (m/f/d)
FATH Mechatronics is an agile, fast-growing company based in the Franconian Lake District near Nuremberg. The focus of the company’s activities is on the development, manufacturing, and marketing of innovative mechanical and electronic products in the B2B sector. FATH Mechatronics is also expanding its existing product portfolio, which began with the TANIock electronic locking system, by developing project-specific solutions. With the innovative TANIock locking system for server cabinets, FATH Mechatronics won the German Data Center Award 2018 and 2019.
Your Tasks:
- Development of system software for microcontrollers (C)
- Development of real-time applications (C/C++, RTOS)
- Basic knowledge in the design of printed circuit boards with Eagle
- Selection of electronic components for printed circuit boards
- Programming and testing of embedded software
- Cooperation in software integration and commissioning
- Documentation of the software
Your Profile:
- Programming of microcontrollers C/C++, if necessary assembler
- Basics of (real-time) operating systems
- TCP/IP – data communication
- LINUX – knowledge, GNU – toolchain
- Independent way of working as well as independent time management
- Good English knowledge in word and writing
- Creativity, initiative, and good communication skills
