About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated (Senior) Data Analyst (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team at our Dortmund location, with the flexibility of up to 80% remote work within Germany. In this role, you will play a crucial part in transforming data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization. Your work will involve creating and maintaining dashboards and reports using Power BI, developing KPIs, and enhancing our reporting landscape. You will leverage your expertise in Python and SQL to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and visualize findings in a clear and understandable manner. Additionally, you will serve as a key contact for customer dashboards and internal analyses, collaborating closely with various departments to meet their data requirements. Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess a completed university degree in Wirtschaftsinformatik, Ingenieurwissenschaften, Statistik, BWL, or a related field. You should have several years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the financial services industry. Proficiency in Power BI, Python, and SQL is essential, along with the ability to visualize complex data in an understandable way. Strong communication skills are required to confidently present findings and engage with clients and internal stakeholders. A proactive attitude, structured working style, and high levels of initiative are vital for success. Fluency in German, both spoken and written, is necessary to navigate and communicate effectively within our organization and with our clients.
Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and continuously improve dashboards and reports in Power BI to provide real-time insights and support decision-making processes.
- Develop, implement, and monitor KPIs that serve as key decision-making tools across the enterprise.
- Contribute to the design and ongoing development of the reporting infrastructure, ensuring it aligns with organizational needs and industry best practices.
- Utilize Python for advanced data analysis, uncovering complex relationships and patterns within large datasets.
- Act as the primary contact for customer dashboards and internal analytical requests, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
