About The Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Multibanking Team at Haufe Group. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing our cloud-based multibanking platform, which processes over 100,000 transactions daily and handles more than 7 billion euros in transfers annually. Your expertise will help us deliver secure, reliable, and innovative financial solutions tailored to meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team comprising developers, UX designers, product owners, and agile coaches to build scalable, high-performance systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage modern technologies, including AI tools, to create impactful banking software that simplifies financial processes for users. The role is based in Freiburg im Breisgau, a vibrant city known for its innovation and quality of life, with flexible work arrangements including regular office visits and remote work options.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong background in building modern banking applications. Proficiency in React and TypeScript for frontend development is essential, along with solid backend expertise in Spring Boot (Java) and relational databases such as PostgreSQL. Experience with cloud services like AWS (EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda) and microservices architecture is highly desirable. Familiarity with integrating AI tools into development workflows, especially for critical processes, will be advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code, and practicing Test Driven Development within an agile environment. Excellent communication skills in German at level C2 are required to participate effectively in team discussions and collaborative planning. A proactive attitude toward experimentation and continuous learning is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, UX/UI designers, product owners, and agile coaches to develop and enhance the multibanking platform across frontend, backend, and infrastructure components.
- Implement scalable, secure, and high-performance features in a cloud environment, ensuring system stability and reliability at high transaction volumes.
- Utilize AI tools actively within the development lifecycle to optimize processes, improve decision-making, and enhance overall product quality.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by experimenting with new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to stay at the forefront of technological advancements.
- Maintain a focus on user needs by developing features that simplify banking operations and improve customer satisfaction.
- Ensure code quality through adherence to best practices such as clean coding, comprehensive testing, and code reviews.
- Contribute to agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to foster a collaborative and efficient team environment.
