About The Role

ISR is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join an agile, self-organized team. In this role, you will help design, develop, and enhance the company’s application monitoring solution for the IBM Business Automation Platform. You will apply your experience in enterprise software development to build high-quality components and deliver features that respond to customer needs. The role combines hands‑on engineering with active participation in technical concepts and team discussions. You will work closely with colleagues across the development process, from exploring requirements and shaping solutions to implementing and refining product capabilities. Your contribution will help ensure that the software remains dependable, maintainable, and valuable to customers.

Responsibilities

Contribute actively to the design and development of software solutions for application monitoring. Build, enhance, and maintain high‑quality components using Enterprise Java, Angular, and modern cloud technologies. Collaborate with your team to develop innovative, well‑matched product features and translate technical concepts into robust implementations. Consider software quality, security, maintainability, and customer requirements throughout the development lifecycle. Use your analytical approach to investigate complex technical questions, evaluate options, and support sound engineering decisions. Work with colleagues to coordinate implementation, exchange knowledge, and continuously improve the product. Help deliver a dependable experience for international customers by approaching development tasks with care, accountability, and a focus on practical outcomes.

Qualifications

You have several years of professional experience in software design and application development within Java enterprise environments. You bring strong knowledge of Java and JavaScript and excellent working knowledge of either Windows or Linux operating systems. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Gradle or Maven, OSGi technologies such as JPA and JAX‑RSC, Angular, web security, application monitoring, and CI/CD is advantageous. You work analytically and systematically, demonstrate strong abstraction and modeling skills, and take ownership of your responsibilities. You are comfortable navigating complex technical contexts and contribute constructively as part of a team. Clear communication with customers and colleagues is important in this position. You have very good German skills at C1 level or above and good English skills at B2 level or above.
