About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist (m/w/d) to join our team either on a full-time or part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, managing all related personnel data, and maintaining compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will support our HR and finance departments by optimizing payroll processes and ensuring seamless communication with employees, social insurance carriers, and authorities. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a professional with a solid background in payroll administration to contribute to a growing organization that values employee development and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Successfully completed commercial training or equivalent qualification
- Professional experience in payroll processing, ideally within an SAP-HR environment
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax and social security regulations
- Interest in staying updated on legal and regulatory developments in payroll and social insurance
- Hands-on mentality with a service-oriented approach and results-driven work ethic
- Excellent team player with strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and management
- Analytical, organized, and resilient under pressure, especially during peak payroll periods
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
Responsibilities
- Preparation and execution of the monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards
- Handling all personnel-related payroll activities such as employee data maintenance, onboarding, offboarding, one-time payments, and reporting
- Managing the company's occupational pension scheme (bAV) and ensuring proper administration
- Serving as the point of contact for employees, social security agencies, and tax authorities regarding payroll and social insurance matters
- Collaborating closely with the Finance and HR departments to ensure data consistency and process alignment
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, including the creation and analysis of reports, key figures, and metrics
- Participating in the continuous improvement and digitalization of payroll and HR processes and systems
